We stand behind every tie that leaves our atelier. Should you need to cancel an order or request a return, our policy is designed to be as effortless as the knot itself.

Order Cancellations

Every GRIPTIE tie is set into production shortly after your order is confirmed. We honour cancellation requests within the window outlined below — please act quickly and we will do everything in our power to intercept your order before it enters our artisan's hands.

Cancellations made outside the permitted window may still qualify for a return once the item is delivered. See our Returns policy below.

Once your order has shipped, cancellation is no longer possible. Please await delivery and initiate a return within our 14-day window.

RETURN REQUIRED

Our Return Promise

If your GRIPTIE piece does not meet your expectations — whether a question of fit, colour, or simply a change of heart — we accept returns within 14 days of the delivery date. Items must be returned in their original, unworn condition with all tags intact and in the original packaging.

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process a full refund or arrange a complimentary exchange for an alternative piece from our collection.

CONDITION OF RETURN

Ties must be returned unworn, unfolded, and free of any scent, stain, or alteration. Items returned in a condition inconsistent with a fair assessment of the product will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender at their expense. Our quality team inspects every return within 48 hours of receipt.

CONTACT OUR CARE TEAM

Email care@griptie.com or use the contact form on our website with your order number and reason for cancellation. Please include "CANCELLATION" or "RETURN" in the subject line for priority routing.

RECEIVE YOUR AUTHORISATION

Our team will respond within 4 business hours with a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number and prepaid shipping label for returns, or confirm your cancellation directly. No RMA, no return — this protects your refund.

PACKAGE & SHIP YOUR RETURN

Repack your tie in the original gift box and tissue. Affix the prepaid label to the outer packaging and drop it at any authorised courier point. Please retain your proof of postage until your refund is confirmed.

REFUND OR EXCHANGE PROCESSED

Upon receipt and quality inspection of your returned item, we will issue your refund within 3–5 business days or dispatch your chosen exchange piece from our atelier. You will receive email confirmation at each stage.

What We Cannot Accept

To preserve the integrity of our craftwork and the experience of every GRIPTIE customer, certain items and circumstances fall outside our standard policy.

BESPOKE & MADE-TO-ORDER

Ties commissioned through our bespoke service — including custom colours, monograms, and special-order widths — are non-returnable and non-refundable as they are created exclusively for you.

WORN OR ALTERED ITEMS

Any tie that shows signs of wear, carries a scent, or has been altered or repaired outside our atelier cannot be accepted for return.

SALE & ARCHIVE PIECES

Items purchased during promotional events or from our archive sale are final sale only. These are noted clearly at the point of purchase.

FAULTY OR DAMAGED GOODS

If your tie arrives with a manufacturing defect or shipping damage, we will replace it or issue a full refund at no cost to you — regardless of when it is reported. Photographs required.

Refund Timeline

All approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. We do not offer cash refunds or store credit as a default; however, if you prefer an exchange, simply let our team know at the time of authorisation.

Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to a fault on our part. For international orders, customers are responsible for any customs duties or taxes incurred on the return shipment.

PROCESSING TIME

Cancellations: 3–5 business days from confirmation.  |  Returns: 3–5 business days from receipt and inspection. Your bank may take an additional 2–7 days to reflect the credit. We will email you the moment your refund is processed on our end.
