Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the GRIPTIE website, placing an order, or engaging with any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our website and services. Please read them carefully before proceeding with a purchase.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and GRIPTIE. We recommend saving or printing a copy for your records.

Products & Pricing

All products offered on our website are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time without notice.

  • Prices are displayed in USD and are subject to change without prior notice
  • All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes and shipping charges, which are calculated at checkout
  • We make every effort to display accurate colours and materials; however, slight variations may occur due to screen settings and the nature of handcrafted goods
  • Product descriptions are provided in good faith and to the best of our knowledge
  • Limited edition and archive pieces are sold strictly on a first-come, first-served basis

Orders & Payment

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase, which is accepted only upon our confirmation email and dispatch of your goods. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion.

  • Payment must be completed in full at the time of order
  • We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other methods listed at checkout
  • All transactions are encrypted and processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways
  • In the event of payment failure, your order will not be processed and no stock will be reserved
  • For large or bespoke orders, a deposit may be required before production commences

Order confirmation emails are sent automatically upon successful payment. If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours, please contact orders@griptie.com.

Shipping & Delivery

We ship worldwide from our atelier in Lahore, Pakistan. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

  • Standard international delivery — 7 to 14 business days
  • Express international delivery — 3 to 5 business days
  • Domestic delivery (Pakistan) — 2 to 4 business days
  • Free shipping on all orders above $300 USD

GRIPTIE is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance, local postal services, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. The customer is responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees levied by their country.

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to be completely satisfied with your GRIPTIE purchase. If you are not, we offer the following policy:

  • Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for unused, unworn items in original packaging
  • Items must be returned with all original tags intact and in their original condition
  • Exchanges are accepted within 21 days of delivery, subject to stock availability
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or incorrectly sent
  • Refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days of receiving the returned item
Bespoke, personalised, and custom-monogrammed items are non-returnable and non-refundable unless they are defective.

Bespoke Orders

Our bespoke service allows clients to commission ties crafted to their precise specifications. The following terms apply specifically to bespoke commissions:

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin production
  • Production time is typically 6 to 8 weeks from deposit receipt
  • Design changes requested after production commences may incur additional charges
  • Bespoke items are non-returnable unless a manufacturing defect is confirmed
  • Final payment is due prior to dispatch

Our atelier team will be in close communication with you throughout the bespoke process to ensure every detail meets your expectations.

Intellectual Property

All content on the GRIPTIE website — including but not limited to text, photography, illustrations, logos, design elements, and product names — is the exclusive intellectual property of GRIPTIE and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and design laws.

  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission
  • The GRIPTIE name, wordmark, and logo are registered trademarks
  • User-generated content submitted to us may be used in our marketing with your prior consent

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GRIPTIE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or products.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.

For customers located in the European Union, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable EU law.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
